we had a couple younger half wits in the cong in field service yesterday.
both are trying to climb the ladder with the entire elder body ready to die in the next 10 years.. i just of thought it was a dick move to go door to door about the merits of fighting for freedom or not fighting on such a sacred day.

@peacefulpete: Hunter is not charged with tax evasion, he’s charged with not reporting his illegally obtained income and money laundering (false reporting). Trump was not charged with tax evasion charges, he was charged with overstating his income in a private transaction, which is neither illegal nor were any damages found. I also think you confuse tax evasion and tax avoidance, one is bad, the other is a moral obligation - if you don’t agree, don’t itemize or don’t claim your deductions next year.
Trump was never charged with illegally carrying, that is impossible in the US, the second amendment states your right to carry cannot be infringed and SCOTUS recently upheld that. Biden was charged with falsely stating he was drug free on a background check form, something that citizens and FFL regularly get prosecuted for simple clerical errors like typos or not filing it correctly, Biden instead illegally OBTAINED a gun and then illegally sold/discarded the gun when his sister-in-law (which he slept with) threatened to report him for driving/being intoxicated at a school parking lot. Few people will agree with the notion that druggies should be granted permission to obtain a gun if non-criminals have to jump through a ton of hoops. Few people will agree that you should be able to throw away evidence of a crime once you believe you will get caught.
The hypocrisy is that Biden’s ATF went hard after people that made simple clerical errors on the same form Biden INTENTIONALLY LIED on. Biden made it part of his anti-gun agenda to weaponize the ATF to go after anyone that ever had a simple clerical error and revoked their FFL licenses. ATF went after people with legal prescription drugs and denied their applications or prosecuted them after the fact.
The Biden DOJ was going to give Biden a get-out-of-jail-free card with a plea deal that was wrapped in secrecy, once the judge saw it, the left wing judge said that the plea was so egregious, it was unacceptable. Basically the DOJ wrote that not only would he be off the hook for the crimes alleged, they wanted the judge to let him off the hook for any crimes alleged and also those not alleged from 2014 onwards (when he started at the board of Burisma). So if Hunter murdered someone, or the bribery stuff he did in Ukraine that eventually was part of the current war, which was not part of that case, they wanted a blanket immunity (basically a Presidential pardon laundered through the judicial system).
As far as the pictures of Trump, lots of people on those red carpets, that’s not really interesting, what is interesting is who was at their houses when the ‘real stuff’ happened. It’s already been proven Trump was never at Epstein’s island or Diddy’s apartments unlike others which the FBI does have lists of and doesn’t want to publish. If Trump was on anyone of them, they sure would’ve selectively leaked that.

by KerryKing ini couldn't get back to sleep last night, something my father said a few weeks ago popped into my head.. we were talking about obtaining citizenship, he doesn't need it, but was contemplating what benefits it could get him now he's a pensioner.. background : i've been disfellowhipped for 15 years, i was born in, he is an elder, very much pimi, he was also born in.. i said to him how citizenship would be difficult for him as it would require him to swear allegiance to the state?.
oh he said, thats just a crowd of people together in a big room for the swearing in event, it would be easy to just mumble or say nothing, nobody would know.. this has quietly been eating away in my mind, why did it bother me?.
last night it hit me, when i was in my first year of school, age 5, i came out of school one day with a balloon with two little pencils attached, a gift from a classmate who's birthday it was, every child got one.

You’re DF’ed and he’s talking to you… the hypocrisy is a lot further than this one thing. Yes, it is infuriating that they have changed their standards so much. Like the people that went to jail for refusing any military or civil service and then all of a sudden it is okay to do non-combat military service, I know hundreds of people in Europe left over that policy change, tons of people that missed opportunities and benefits for having a criminal history and nearing the end of their life and suddenly their special ‘standing’ gets pulled from under them, I personally knew a dozen people, a Missionary, 2 CO and Uber-Elders, entire congregations were disbanded due to the sudden contraction.

so one of stephen lett's go to arguments is that christians do not take up arms because we don't live in ancient times where israelites had a mandate to occupy the holy land where as we gentile christians we don't.

@aqswed: I live up north, we go winter camping with scouts unless it is under 0F, a lot colder than what those shepherds did, in basic tents and outside all day regardless of weather. Sure, we have blankets and cots, but people back then were pretty inventive too, the Roman Empire reached all the way up to Finland with soldiers being stationed in the Netherlands.

Christmas can be deduced from scripture, the Jews celebrate similar symbols at the same time. Whether it is factual is irrelevant unless you deny the scripture altogether.
Shepherds in the field, not a problem in temperate climate where it is 50-60F at night, you know people had fire and the huts they lived in didn’t really have central heating either.

@TonusOH: they have been fighting back, they’re halfway back to Kyiv. The media is being pretty quiet about this, but Biden is (or rather the Obama admin acolytes are) fanning the flames.
As I said before years ago, the goal for Russia was Donbas and Crimea, which they effectively got 10 years ago. After the election of the current president who tried to recapture the “rebels”, they secured it, and then 3 years ago with the invasion of Kyiv demonstrated they had the power, then retreated.
The war sat at a stalemate for 2 years since because that is what Russia wanted with the hopes Ukraine would run out of steam and come to the table with the independent regions (Russia used the same tactic for nearly 3 centuries in these regions because the geography makes it difficult to assail).
But if you give Ukraine modern weapons, then geography becomes less of a problem, they can just skip the region and hit Moscow to poke the bear. The dumb part about that is only possible if the West declares open war on Russia directly. The biggest question is whether Europe is willing to go to war or will they roll over like they did in WW1 and WW2. The US will not come to help this time.

Revelation is an adaptation of Daniel - basically Daniel for Christians.
By the time of Daniel’s writing, the events had already happened, as was Revelation. They were just a religious warning and history lesson for future generations.
The reason these texts were coded is because in both cases, they couldn’t outright point to the government, so they used beasts.
This would be similar to writing a religious text for distribution amongst Christians or Buddhist in China or North Korea today, you may want to use creatures like dragons, rabbits and tigers so a censor may not immediately catch on. Who will know 2000 years from now why Winnie the Pooh characters are used in surviving Chinese letters and digital chat/forum posts.
